Dear Friends – it is with heavy hearts we inform you that Tree Things summer deliveries will be on pause for 2022. The past year has presented new challenges, particular on the personal front. Our son Michael is having increasingly severe seizures which require continuing in-home care. After many weeks of soul searching, we have arrived at the difficult conclusion that my presence is needed at home where my top priority must remain. We realize that our decision will bring some sadness for you, our faithful customers, some who have been loyal for over 30 years. The decision was not made lightly.

We are hopeful for the future and look forward to the summer of 2023. Thank you for all your care and concern and prayers for our family – Matthew Doerksen

Orange Julius from Dan and Wanda

Peel and tear 2 oranges into small pieces in the blender.


 Blend, then add 12 ice cubes and blend until ice is crushed.

 Serve immediately.  Makes 3-4 servings.

Raspberry Frappe

In a blender, combine sorbet, white grape juice, raspberries and lemon juice.  Blend until smooth.  Pour into pitcher.  Stir in lemon-lime soda.  Serve immediately.  Makes 6 drinks.

Chocolate Raspberry Frappe

Blend until smooth and serve immediately

Fruit Smoothie

Put as many frozen strawberries, blueberries, peaches, nectarines and/or prunes as desired in a blender that can handle making smoothies. 

Peach Almond Roca Smoothie

Place all of the ingredients in blender & blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds.

Lemon-Berry Crush Smoothie from Kraft Foods

PLACE all ingredients in blender; cover.

Blend on high speed until smooth. 

SERVE immediately.

Cantaloupe Crush

Whirl all ingredients in a blender until smooth.   Enjoy.  Serves 2

Cherry Vanilla Smoothie

Blend and drink!  Serves 2

Berry Bonanza Smoothie

Blend and drink!  Serves 2

Heidi's Dairy-Free Morning Smoothie

Blend and drink!  Makes 1 large or 2 smaller smoothies.

***Variations:  can add 1/2 cup regular or soy yogurt, and/or 2 Tbsp wheat germ or Flax Seed

Fruit Shake

Blend in a blender...drink...enjoy all the benefits. 


**add  1 1/2 cups of cantaloupe for a new flavor

**use mint leaves instead of blueberries

Berry Banana Smoothie

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.

Yield: 3 servings

Mango Blueberry "Fool" 

Purée mango, sugar, lime juice, and a pinch of salt in a blender until very smooth. Add cream and blend until very thick. Blend in additional lime juice and sugar to taste.

Transfer to a bowl and fold in most of blueberries, then divide among 6 glasses. Top with remaining blueberries and zest. If desired, chill, loosely covered, 30 minutes.
